Zeer vriendelijke host, uitgebreide uitleg, goede locatie, makkelijk parkeren (voor een eerlijke prijs), zeer luxe uitgerust appartement (je kunt goed koken en zelfs kleding wassen!)

Er viel niets tegen! Het appartement is alleen mogelijk minder geschikt voor mensen met een fysieke beperking, omdat het geen lift heeft en op de heuvel ligt. Ik vermoed dat dit niet te vermijden is in centrum Genova.

Very clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need in a great location.

Prior to check in information is sent however it was not clear on how we would get the keys. Would be a good idea to inform travellers that the owner lives next door and they will meet you there.

The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and is beautifully decorated. It all looks new. The fit out is quite amazing. The lighting system creates different atmospheres depending on which light switch is used. In the master bedroom alone I counted 17 down lights around the edge of the room, two touch bedside lamps, and a chandelier. The other rooms were similar. The shower is very modern and has a rain shower and 3 jets, as well as the standard style. The apartment is located on the first level of a building with a beautiful entry. There are marble stairs leading up to each landing, and beautiful frescoes on the ceilings under each stairway. There are two ways of entering the building depending on which direction you come from. It is located at the top of a steep hill, but there is a funicular that brings you up to only about a 5 minute walk from the top entry. Either way there are quite a few stairs, but they are marble, and we soon became used to them. Luggage does need to be carried up the stairs. The apartment is at the top of a street that leads down in to the old and interesting part of Genoa. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Jessica impressed us with her willingness to do so much more than most hosts do. I wanted to find out the name of a hairdresser so I could make an appointment. She came back with the name of two, and then made the appointments for us both. That was such a helpful attitude and made our stay so much easier.

The apartment is very large and clean. Big kitchen and living room and primary bedroom. Second bedroom smaller with set of twin beds but still fine. Bathroom updated. Building is beautiful. Hosts were very available.

Not really a negative but there are stairs to get into apartment. It is also on a street, close to the historic district but requires up or down hill to see the sights. Not an issue for us but something to be aware.

Amazing building, beautiful light and airy apartment. Modern, well-furnished with air con. Lovely bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen. Great coffee machine with complimentary, tea , coffee, biscuits and water. Very helpful and informative host who even walked us to get the bus on the way home! Well-situated for walking into the old town. Good local supermarket, restaurants and cafes.

Nothing! Would recommend and would come again.

Air-con wasn’t very efficient and it was very hot in july

The location in a beautiful palace, between upper town and old city. Nice and bright. Lovely owners live next door. Easy to communicate, provide a parking pass. Excellent location
