4 Friends House

This is a fantastic place, for a value and budget place I thought I sacrificed the “ location” when I was booking it. I booked my stay almost 9 months in advance and we stayed for 9 nights. It turns out there was no sacrifice.. Eric was in constant communication with me. The property had 9.2 rating at the time of my booking and I just was looking something safe and clean to stay within a walking distance if I wanted to walk. We got much more. We had the largest room - super king and it is wonderful. It is very spacious and has a super king bed. The room has always been exceptionally clean. Their toiletries are nice as well. You can just walk out of the guesthouse and there is bus stop 7 that takes you to the center. They picked up my laundry for me because I could not make it during the business hours. Eric also reminded me about it too- becusse we discussed it several months prior. Part of me didn’t want to bother them but he reminded me! Eric went out on the street to ensure we can find the place in the evening when we arrived. Who will do this for you? He took our luggage for us even though it wasn’t much trouble for us - only two flights of stairs and I was traveling with a 21 year old son. It is above and beyond. We also met Lucas a coupe mornings and he ensured our laundry was going to be done on the same day not the next day. Where else are going to get this? I do hope their Booking rating will go up to 9.8 very soon. All the best.

Wspaniałe miejsce na nocleg w Edynburgu. Ciche, bardzo czyste pokoje. Blisko do autobusów by przejść się w centrum, jak również blisko ścieżki by przejść się do centrum wśród zieleni. Prowadzący lokal uczynni i bardzo gościnni.

Very clean place and comfortable! Would stay again!

Kind of a far walk to all the happenings (old town/new town edinburgh). But Uber rides to those areas were cheap so not really an issue.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour : accueil chaleureux, maison propre et cosy, très belle chambre spacieuse avec un grand lit. Des arrêts de bus sont à proximité pour rejoindre le centre ville. On peut aller à pied jusqu'à la mer et le yacht royal ou jusqu'à la promenade de Leith. Dans la chambre, nous avions tous les jours de l'eau fraîche, des sachets de the, de café, des petits gâteaux. On peut prendre un petit déjeuner dans la cuisine commune (des céréales, pain, chocolat, confiture, beurre, fruits, petits gâteaux sont à votre disposition) ou chauffer son plat et manger si vous souhaitez dîner à la maison. Un frigidaire commun est également disponible. Merci beaucoup aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur bonne humeur ! Nous reviendrons.

Wow amazing stay, highly recommend. Staff were great (helped me when I locked myself out of my room 🤦‍♀️). Kitchen and bathroom were stocked with goodies. Room was very clean. Bus stop very close by to get into the city!!

A little bit far from city location wise.

I never felt so cozy, welcomed and more at home than here. The vibe, the staff and the DETAILS are so unique and perfect.

I am only sorry I stayed 2 nights and not more.
