Absolutely lovely cottage with everything you need, home from home, close to the pub who do excellent meals, and within walking distance of the Beamish museum. Perfect in every way. Thankyou

Clean, modern, comfortable, great location, extra touches like Christmas decorations, provision of toiletries cleaning products, tea, coffee cooking oil salt and pepper etc

An 11am checkout would have been better.

It was quiet, clean, cosy and in a perfect location.

It could do with maybe a lamp or two in the living room and sharing one bathroom wasn’t ideal, but it wasn’t a negative; just something to be aware of.

"Exceptional"

We could not fault Rosie's Cottage, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our few days away. The surrounding area was lovely and great to take the dog for a good walk. We would definitely book this again.

Unfortunately, the garden area was not secure enough for us to let our dog in off the lead. The fence was just to open, he would have definitely gone exploring and would go down the slop onto the cycle track at the bottom. It was great we could bring our dog but I would highly recommend you make it clear about the pet rules of for the house in advance and definitely in your right up about the property, it would allow guests to be fully prepared and able to keep their pets safe.

"Very clean and well maintained"

The entire house was spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome pack with jam, coffee, tea, sugar and even cooking oil and salt. It was in an excellent location for walking to Beamish museum.

The pillows were really, really soft and didn’t have any protectors on them. Firmer pillows or having a few stored away would have made the stay much more comfortable for us.
