Large premises .. great location

No air conditioning and communication was a little on the slow side large premises and great location ... and a few stairs to climb which isn't great with a large family with suitcases

Spacious apartment just outside the walled city. Walk to cafes, groceries, train, bus, sights. Common spaces were large. Kitchen is a galley style. Bedrooms and bathroom were at one end of the apartment opposite living/dining rooms. Outdoor patio. Bathrooms are not ensuites (accessed via bedrooms) and are spacious and clean. Laundry room has that odd smell common in old buildings but it could be contained if you kept the door closed.

Wi-Fi only works in living room, and kitchen but not in bedrooms, or patio.

The apartment was lovely and in a great location close to access to both the railway station and town. The local area had great coffee / restaurant / food options. The apartment was clean with good bed and bathroom linens.

As noted in earlier reviews, the access both from the street and within the apartment is difficult for anyone with mobility issues (the host helpfully provided us with photos, so we were well aware of this), but just something for others to be aware of. It would have been useful to have some small sachets of washing powder provided for the washing machine. Also, I had trouble getting the knack of the key to the apartment itself - luckily my friend was able to work the key, but I found it quite tricky.

Nothing. One star is too many, but i am unable to award less.

On arrival in the evening the apartment was in a disgusting state and had clearly not been serviced after the previous occupants. The beds were in a mess, rubbish was on the floor, towels lying around, food, drink and empty cans in abundance and a strong smell of incense. Repeated phone calls to both offered numbers after some time eventually produced a WhatsApp message palming us off to the other number. We had to abandon the place and with difficulty seek last minute accommodation elsewhere. This property and its proprietors should, in turn, be abandoned by Booking.com. This was a very poor show.

Air conditioning should definitely be installed. It can get very hot in the Siena in the summer, and having the windows open doesn't help. Beside it was very noisy in the courtyard in the middle of the night during our stay.

Literally everything. I am very used to Milan as I lived there so it was perfect for me.

The house and view is beautiful! Kitchen and bathrooms are very well equipped! The beds are very comfortable. Location is great as it is near the train station, up the long escalator, turn left and you will there in a few mins! If you are renting a car to tour Tuscany, the La Stazione carpark is nearby and not expensiveIt is also near to restaurants, convenient stores and places of interest! The hosts are also responsive.

The flight of steps leading from the main street to the house can be quite challenging, especially with luggages, but my kids say it's worth it :) got to read the what-if guide carefully as the instructions came in handy for us.

No parking, A lot of steps, if you have to carry a lot of bags for the whole family 😅 Shades can not be closed for total darkness in rooms(daytime naps for babies 👶)
