Luxury Trulli sabotino 61

The trulli was located near the piazza and close to cafes and restaurants. It was spacious and comfortable with a private outdoor terrace which was great.

The entrance to the bathroom was very low and needs a warning sign and we couldn’t lock the front door from the inside.

The location was excellent, the room was clean and pretty. The shower was good and the water was hot. It was easy to park nearby and walk in.

The bed was uncomfortable - two single mattresses on a king base and they both sagged towards the middle. We had to sleep top to tail to avoid rolling in to each other constantly. The kitchen had plenty of plates, cups and cutlery. There was a two burner ?electric/induction cooktop (not sure which). There was only one very old scratched up saucepan without a lid which made any self catering impossible. If it was induction, there was no suitable cookware to use at all. Breakfast was not included, we knew this. Tea and coffee were supplied but it would have been generous to also give us some UHT milk as we don’t all drink espresso coffee and black tea. Also, a note left by the owner regarding the closest small store or bakery to buy a few basic food items would have been helpful. We did not want to eat in cafes for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. One more thing - the table has drawers under the top, which make it impossible to sit at the table to eat as there is not enough space for your legs! Given these comments I feel it is overpriced and perhaps the name of the place should not be “luxury”.

Close to center, clean,

we loved our trulli :) the location is great, there is bar outside but in winter it was closed, so we enjoyed quiet evening. there is a stove for heating which makes this little house very atmospheric. all was great.

location . it’s a trulli. so long as your not 6ft 7in what’s not to like. very cute and in a village of trulli
