Quality and charming accommodation overlooking the beautiful Castelmezzano village. The host was polite, helpful and even offered to assist me with my luggage. Renovated and modern interior and rooms in a traditional building, very clean and well equipped with excellent heating and very close to the central square. Excellent view from the balcony and balcony doors! The roads are mostly traditional, narrow and cobblestoned alleys but I managed to ride and park my motorcycle at a small piazzetta very close to the room.

The included breakfast was not a meal, just a croissant and coffee from a pod machine in the kitchen but there are cafeterias nearby at the neighboring central square.

To get to the property with luggage, you nearly die on the way. I think guests should be aware of it, otherwise I would not take luggage as it is impossible

The apartment is in a lovely location at the far end of the village, right under the rocks and with a good view of the village. The furnishings and beds are a little old but clean and serviceable. The host walked us from the center to the apartment. The village has restaurants, as well as a small supermarket.

The apartment is at the opposite end of the village from the car park, and the walk there is along the original paved pathway with stairs in places. This is fabulous for really feeling like you are in the village - but was difficult for my elderly mother to walk and also would have been difficult with a lot of heavy luggage. My advice is to leave most of your luggage in the car and only take what you need for your stay.
