"Comfortable stay in a great location"

8.0

The facilities were great, the location great, nice character cottage.

Very creaky floorboards but that’s to be expected in an old property. Shower door was very stiff and got stuck couple times.

"We enjoyed our stay with friends and we love Hook Norton"

4.0

The location was ideal and as there was only 4 of us we had plenty of room on the ground floor

The en-suite had no fan working the triton shower unit was very difficult to get the temperature correct and keep it there. The doors on the enclosure didn’t glide so one door in particular had to be lifted and moved. This was also a jack and Jill bathroom but the lock on the door onto the landing was broken and so we couldn’t lock that door which proved embarrassing on a couple of occasions The main bathroom had no shower curtain and so couldn’t be used for showering. The bath towels were very small. The oven had not been cleaned in a long while

"Relaxing weekend away"

9.0

We liked the space in the cottage and the homely feel and the garden for Teddy the dog

Parking is a bit tight in front of the house, but once done we didn't move the car so that was ok. I thought the bath towels could have been larger.

"Comfortable stay in a lovely village"

9.0

Lovely house and location, right in the centre of Hook Norton, which is a very pretty village.

The only thing we missed having in the kitchen was a cafetiere! Otherwise it was all very well appointed.
