GBThe facilities and location of the Bellevue Bute are exceptional. The hosts also went the extra mile and provided numerous additional condiments and complimentary gifts which made the property feel like a real home from home.
GBA great flat, very good size with exceptional views (55 steps up help 😁) It was quiet but close to the town and amenities.
The double bed mattress was very uncomfortable.
GBIt had the most fantastic view, I was often mesmerised just looking out the window. It was well equipped and the broadband which I used for a works meeting worked perfectly. The washing machine was a welcome bonus such that next time I won't take so many clothes. Bute is so well provided with public transport that if you stay on the island, a car is not necessary. It was close enough to be able to easily walk to all the main facilities and yet far enough not to hear late night noise. Within 2 hours I was working out when I can go back. Even the 55 steps weren't too daunting knowing what awaits you at the top and I was much fitter at the end of the week, no bad thing! The town had several well stocked food shops and the island had many wonderful restaurants, cafes. The second bedroom is a single but has a wonderful view so much so that as a sole traveller, it was a difficult decision between using the master en suite bedroom or the single room. The property had everything you could want, maybe if I am being ultra picky a tumbler drier would have been nice but that would have been the cherry on a very nice cake.
