Everything! Beachfront location, view, pool, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Our host's generosity and helpfulness also deserves a mention. We could even use his surfboards! Would highly recommend!

If you want to enjoy the beauty of the Sopela area to the full, I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment in Sopelmar. I stayed solo for 3 relaxing nights but the apartment of course accommodates more than 1 person. This home is spacious and tidy, the bed is good, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the balcony offers fabulous views! Great location just a stone throw from famous Arrietara Beach, with two good restaurants. Besides the proximity to the beach, I loved it that the scenic hiking route over the hills starts just behind the Sopelmar buildings (I walked all the way to Plentzia Beach!). Also the surfer guy (owner's brother if I remember correct?) who gave the keys was super cool & nice.

Regarding the apartment, nothing to complain. Regarding the building: - If you're not fond/able of walking stairs, please pay attention to the fact that this building has no elevator. - Also, the entance/stairway of the building is not attractive. But stairway is not the place where you spend your holidays :)

Beautiful location with stunning views, hosts were great, helpful and friendly. Everything you need for holidays on site. Apartment really well stocked, even Including deck chairs & umbrella for beach, tennis gear and beach toys etc Would love to return

From the outset we were so looked after. Jokin helped carry out bags to the flat and offered his assistance at any point. Indeed, when we asked a question via WhatsApp he quickly responded. The layout and facilities in the apartment are superb. It probably has the best view of the whole apartment block. We were there on the hottest day of the year, 43° and Jokin made it clear how to keep the apartment cool. We had enough equipment to make our own meals and best of all, Jokin had left us so many kind gifts like wine and soft drinks for the kids, we felt really cared for. And to be honest his kindness made up for the detached 'hospitality' we received in a top Bilbao hotel. Jokin has been the best host so far (and we've experienced 4 stays so far in Bilbao region). It will take an awful lot to beat Jokin's holiday offer. The swimming pool and sports area were great for fun and exercise. I loved watching the children congregate and play in the evening. And the sea was so dramatic. We hope we can revisit one day in the future. It is the sort of place that I would want to visit in the winter too as the views are so dramatic.
