Golden Sunflower's Apt B1

For a reserving a 1BR with a bathroom closed off from the original layout of a 2BR-2BATH room duplex which includes free wifi, electricity, and stable hot water the nightly rate was decent. The space provided was what I needed, a place to lay my head.

I paid for B1online, but when I arrived on the day of check-in, I was changed to C1. No complaints from me, I didn't argue with the owner I was tired and wanted to rest. It would've been great as a customer, to have an option of something, anything due to the last minute change, even if there were some maintenance issues with the other room.

It’s a nice apartment

1. Location 2. Appliances Stove and Refrigerator 3. Availability of Washer and Dryer-did not use - not comfortable using after interaction with host and there was laundry in the washer and dryer 4. The place has great potential

1. Hospitality-"0"- Check in time was 3pm I arrived around 6pm. There were no check in instructions in my email or text. I had to call the host. After finally making contact the host did not greet me with a "hello" or a "how was your trip" I was greeted with "Why are you here?" and "Why do you have a number with XXX area code?" 2. No Boundaries- Host came to the door twice at 10pm knocking and calling my name. Why? To leave an air filter and I have no clue why for the second time. I don't open my door at night for anyone. 3. Smell - the place had an awful smell- that smell when someone mops with old dirty water. I had to go buy spray and cleaning items to get rid of the smell. 4. Need a housekeeper- the residence was not ready when I arrived- I was given instructions to get bed sheets out of dryer, change air filter, and take trash to the road-Not acceptable 5. Left dirty mops in the bath tub- this is how people contract foot infections 6. Noise- The upstairs activity sounded like a migration of bison. TOO LOUD!!!!

Not sure what in the world is going on with Booking.com because after I booked it, I called the owner to see if I could check in early. She informed me that there wasn’t any Apts. open to rent, definitely not B-1. But she made it right. So, I have nothing but good things to say about her.

I’m satisfied.
