Athina House "by Checkin"

- l'appartamento era molto grande e suddiviso in aree - bagno grande con lavatrice - cucina super attrezzata, con tutti i comfort (sale olio, tisane, pentole, piatti, posate, tostapane, bollitore...) -pulizia - letto comodo - zona soggiorno - aria condizionata

- il vicolo dove si trova - motore aria condizionata che faceva rumore

Central location and good level of cleanliness

We stayed in the flat on the 1st floor. The main problem with this place is damp. We woke up to find our clothes and laces of our shoes damp. The bathroom does not have an extractor fan, which makes the space even more damp after having a shower. The second main issue is noise. The flat is next to a main road and we could hear everything. The windows need upgrading to provide better noise insulation. The bed was really uncomfortable. Could feel the springs poking out. The flat is dark, doesn’t get any sunlight and is cold in the evenings even in April. There was no proper heating only air con which wasn’t enough to warm up the space. There was a thick duvet but no duvet cover. It would be nice if the hosts had left us a couple of extra towels as we were staying for 10 days. I would also recommend replacing the industrial mat in the bathroom with a nice soft bath mat where people can wipe their feet. Overall we regretted booking this flat. It was damp, noisy and uncomfortable. It wasn’t pleasant spending any time in there. We were surprised to see the good reviews but maybe they referred to the other flat on the 2nd floor.

Place is pleasantly situated člověk to the city centre and beach.

The city is very noisy and apartment is close to main street.
