"Lovely well appointed apartment."

9.0

Excellent facilities and very well appointed apartment. The surroundings are not glitzy, but it is very quiet, and convenient to the Herculeum.

the hot water service was limited.

"Cute little apartment!"

9.0

Cute apartment with lots of lovely little touches. The kitchen is very well equipped including a coffee machine that makes amazing coffee! The bathroom is small but a decent size shower. The bedroom with the bunk beds is quite small but adequate. Most of all the apartment is exceptionally clean! The lovely owners were there to meet us on arrival and took time to explain everything we needed to know. We stayed two nights. One night we ate at Ro vi pizzeria where the pizzas were amazing. The other night we ate at Pappamonte where the food was good.

The apartment is in a tiny side street and can be quite noisy during the day but no disturbance at night.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Great location next to Herculaneum with wonderful hosts who ensured that we had a very comfortable stay. Large living room and bedroom with everything you could possibly need. And hosts more than happy to accommodate any requests for anything else that we needed.

There was nothing to dislike.

"Wonderful Apartment, Wonderful Hosts, Fantastic Location"

10.0

Apartment: What a wonderful place! Spacious, light, homey, everything you could think of, and then some. The oranges in the fridge are a very nice surprise, water bottles, butter, tea bags, electric kettle and various tea bags (bring your own tea bags, if you're British-same as anywhere else), Italian coffee and Italian coffee maker , toaster, everything you would need to make meals or have a brew. (Large mugs, too) The towels are fluffy, planty of pillows and extra blankets, if needed. There is a hair dryer and clothes iron in drawers, comfy bed, windows with bug screens that can be put up or down as needed. Oh, and air conditioning, and double paned glass on the doors and windows. Location: On a narrow road, very close to the Herculaneum Ruins, pizza place (Pizzeria Ro Vi) around the corner that serves takeaway (or eat in)pizza that's not too bad for 8 euros and chips that are edible for 1.50 euros, but whatever you do, DO NOT try to order a salad. We made this mistake and got an overcharged for a pizza box full of gross inedible stuff, including wilted lettuce, tomatoes gone squishy and tinned vegetables. (Went into the bin immediately) There are also a lot of other shops and restaurants nearby, if you want to explore. Mobility: A lot of stairs, though, so if you can't go up and down a couple flights of stairs, maybe this isn't for you if you have major mobility issues. (Between us we have heart trouble and a lot of bad knees, but we mananged) View: Balconies on every window with a view of the road, roof terrace which you are allowed to use, with a WOW view.

Everything was wonderful. Although a fresh bun would have been nice for breakfast, and a small pot of milk for tea or coffee, would have been delightful, the owners have already gone way over the top to make us comfortable, so no complaints here.

This place was a fantastic base for our stay in Ercolano! Our hosts, Gennaro and Anna were so welcoming, with the apartment full of all the little things that make it so much easier for your stay - including laundry detergent so that you didn't need to bring your own 😁 They also provided us with access to the rooftop terrace - a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset whilst sipping on a glass of wine. We were within a 5 minute walk to the Herculaneum ruins and a 10 minute walk to the train station where you could catch a bus up to Mt Vesuvius. Overall, we would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again if visiting Ercolano. Thank you Gennaro and Anna 😊

Nothing - it was all fantastic!

"Perfect place to relax with Italian hospitality"

10.0

It was so well equipped and spotlessly clean and fresh. The hosts were so lovely and greeted us with fresh fruit, water and breakfast to eat in the apartment for the following morning. The hosts were so welcoming and kind! Warm and generous people who did everything to ensure our stay was fabulous. It’s a 3 minute distance from Herculaneum and places to eat, so great location. We used the washing machine, which was great for a quick freshen up before our next stop in Pompeii. Grazi mille!

That we only stayed one night, wish it could have been longer!

"We enjoyed the ruins, the town which is lest touristy than Pompeii and our accommodations"

Little apartment well equipped and spotlessly clean. We stayed two nights to visit Hurculaneum which is very close. Our hosts met us and showed us around and even arranged a taxi for us when we left.

"Great authentic Italian home from home"

10.0

The hosts were lovely and could not have been more accommodating. The property is very authentically Italian down a little cobbled street and very close to the town centre and train station for trips to Naples or Pompeii. The property has everything you could need and more and was excellent value for money. The breakfast included was a lovely unexpected addition.

Very small detail but a larger sofa or more comfortable seating would have been a bonus.
