ZANice cozy home
The music at the bar over the road was very loud until 2 the morning
ZALocation was perfect, 3 minutes away from the facilities we needed to be at.
ZAThis is self catering unit that has everything you need, especially with kids. Has a nice braai area and stoep. Loved the little garden for the kids to play in.
Honestly, when we arrived the place was very dusty, you can see it hasn’t been refreshed cleaned in weeks. I had to sweep the floors and mop the floors. I had to shake out all the bedding. The kettle was so dirty from all the limescale build up. I had to scrub the kettle clean, otherwise you get pieces of limescale in the kettle. The cherry on the cake was the main bedroom bed. That was honestly disgusting. It smells like a dog’s bed. I went to buy pep linen the next day, and pillows just to not sleep with the accommodations linen. But then we realised it was the mattress that stank. The property is right across a club/sokkie/bar, so if noises bothers you a night this is not the place for you. They are open every night including Sunday. You can hear the people talking/screaming, breaking bottles, throwing donuts with their cars, drunk people driving etc.

No one can operate the TV. No communication whatsoever with anyone.

The noise coming from the club makes sleeping a tad difficult, wish I took ear plugs as I am a light sleeper... we were quite tired this weekend.

ZAWe enjoyed our stay a lot. We did not need anything as the accommodation had everything we wanted. Upon arrival the accommodation was neat and tidy with a few homey touches. I would gladly recommend Alewyn.
