A gem nestled in the heart of Oxford with parking!

Very responsive and helpful manager/owner. Great location (very close to supermarkets, station, and colleges). Comfy beds, very thoughtfully decorated apartment, fast internet (I had to take zoom calls). We needed to do laundry and appreciated having a laundry machine. We also appreciated having the possibility to leave our luggage for a few more hours after check-out.

Two main issues: 1. There is no luggage storage option beyond 2pm. We managed and it was no problem for us but it could be a bit difficult for people who travel with kids or people who are in Oxford for conferences/work and have to take late flights. 2. Our biggest issue was the water temperature of the shower. The water seems to be super hot or cold. We could never manage to have an acceptable shower temperature for more than 30 seconds. It was brutal. Our kids dreaded taking a shower and we did too. We ended up taking baths but it is time consuming. Maybe the wonderful manager/owner can find a solution to this :) This said, we really loved the apartment and we would definitely consider going back.

The location was excellent!

Tea and coffee were provided, otherwise it was self-catering. The living room was spacious and well-furnished, similarly the kitchen. The location is sufficiently central to easily access food, drink and public transport.

I always find Oxford extremely difficult to park a car - there are many restrictions. This property has private outdoor parking, with security gate, which is very helpful, but restricted to one vehicle.

A lovely apartment. Very well equipped with new appliances and generous quantities of starter tea, coffee, milk, washing powder etc. Very happy with our stay

No serious problems. I would suggest that the shower is plumbed to the hot water system rather than the silly electrical gadget which alternated between hot cold water every 20 seconds.

construction noise on street but there’s nothing to be done about that and it was a small annoyance compared to the many pros of the flat. only suggestion is a second key would be useful.

The decor

The washing machine was only a washer-no dryer. I had to hang all my clothes around the apartment with fans blowing on them, hoping they would dry by morning.
