Great welcome from Alberto. Excellent location. Good heating and spacious bathroom.

The steps up to the bedroom/bathroom needed a lot of care, no handrail, I nearly slipped...

This is such a beautiful apartment, we didn’t want to leave. High quality bed and bedding, great shampoo, cute decor, very convenient location. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nice B&B with nice atmosphere.

As per most B&Bs, they may be very nice but with no soul, since check-in is throughout WhatsApp and you don’t meet any people.

The house was very nice and cozy, great indoor temperature for this time of the year ( november) , the communication with the host was very easy. The location and the balcony are truly amazing.

Lovely to be in the Sassi after the day trippers have left. Close to restaurants. Stylish decor. Alberto met us and gave us great restaurant tips and offered to book if we needed him to. Kitchen well kitted out. Paid, secure parking available about 8 minute walk plus street parking outside of Sassi.

The location was superb. On one of the main streets of the Sassi, with plenty of great cafes and restaurants and a short walk to the piazza up in the “new” town. Loved the walks all over the town, and our four days were spent continually exploring. We especially like the cafes, and Al Casale would rate as serving the best pizza — sausage, mozzarella, truffle cream and mushrooms we’ve ever had. Especially grateful for Mary to organise Alberto to collect us from bus station and take us to the apartment in the Sassi.

Nothing. It was a well equipped apartment in the centre of the action but very quiet at night. Certainly great value for money.
