Modern and Homely 3 BR for bigger groups

Not much.

Very dirty. Back yard was full of rubbish. Hardly any plates or cutlery. Kitchen not clean. Not enough towels. Downstairs neighbour is rude and complains about you walking around in the afternoon. Horrible experience

Great location, walking distance to all attractions and local shop. Supermarket short drive. The decor was relaxing.

Only 2 bowls and 1 spoon, not suitable for a family of 4. Sweety left above kitchen door way. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Crumbs in couch. Back yard was full of scattered rubbish from overflowing bins.

The space

It was all a bit grim to be honest. Clean enough but quite a depressing apartment and very tired looking. It really needs a refresh and a bit of effort to be put in by the owners. We will definitely book a hotel next time. The bathroom was nice.

We would never stay here again!

Our stay was a big disappointment. We arrived late, with a baby. The apartment was dirty. There was liquid (most likely from wine) smeared on the walls in the living room. Trash from previous quests in the bedrooms (under the beds and in the drawers). Dust and dirt on lamps and in the cupboards in the kitchen, and bathroom. Cups were dirty, and food was left in the fridge and freezer. I dont even think the place had been vacuumed. In one of the bedrooms, the drapes (on the windows) were lying destroyed on the floor. These weren't even removed before we checked in. I contacted the owners whom sent over cleaners the next day. All the cleaners did was remove the food from the fridge. We had to contact the owners again, and were then promised that cleaners would come the next day. We stayed out all day, but the cleaners never made it. We basically gave up at this point, seeing as it was Christmas and cleaners couldn't come during the holidays. We were therefore promised a 10% discount as a sorry for the inconvenience. This discount still hasn't been given to us. There are other places to stay in South Shields. This place was very dirty, but the most disappointing thing was that after several complaints, the owner just didn't care, nor resolved the issues. Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere!

General cleanliness needed attention thick dust on lamp , toilet bin and accessories Kitchen cupboards needed a general clean ( this would be done between visitors) House is for 6 There’s not enough seating either settees and for dining Not enough knifes and forks x

Lovely little place, bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Good amenities and great location for the beach
