"This is an absolute gem of a place and will shine in our memory for exceptional food and service."

The Red Lion absolutely deserves its impressive ratings. The food at both dinner and breakfast was exceptional and every member of staff we had the pleasure of meeting were so welcoming and proficient.

The room was a good size and well appointed but the building is not very well insulated and we were aware of sound from people above and next to us in the morning.
