Not being able to stay longer

Well located pub in the heart of the village offering rooms. Food was great, both in the evening and for breakfast.

Surfaces had a thin layer of dust which was visible on the shiny surfaces. Probably no more than that which settles after fresh sheets are put on the bed and the pillows puffed up.

We were expecting to be able to get an evening meal however it is was Chinese mobile van night so no food was available in the hotel and all that was available from the van was chips and chicken balls as the village had descended on the van. This also affected parking and our initial experience, The hotel should have advised of this situation.

Breakfast options are great, all the usual offerings, very well cooked and lovely dining facilities. I had the Eggs Royal, which was cooked to perfection. Cannot complain in any way, loved the breakfast. The bed was amazing, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in, rooms are super clean, a proper mixer shower, not a mediocre electric offering and you get a real mechanical door key.

I'm really struggling to find anything wrong with this hotel, I have stayed at many throughout Hereford and this is in my opinion the best so far, I guess if I could request anything extra it would be a small room fridge, but that really would be a stretch request above and beyond.
