Elegance Retreat - 2 Bed Holiday Home with Parking

Modern, quality furnishings, easy access, great location with parking.

A couple of small niggles only.. wobbly kitchen tap, light to downstairs toilet not working (could well have been the bulb) nothing major and we did report it after our stay for these to be given attention.

Está un poco lejos del centro por si usted lo que quiere es ir al centro, si quiere un lugar tranquilo está muy bien ubicado

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like about our stay

Parking felt safe, beds were comfortable. That’s about it.

The kitchen was very dirty, oven, toaster and microwave had not been cleaned in a very long time. Freezer did not work and was filled with water, light to downstairs toilet did not work. Back door did not seem to close properly and felt unsure if it was locked this did seem a bit of a security risk. Door handle to bedroom B was broken. I pointed out to owner about toilet light and freezer and also that fridge was freezing up at back when first arrived they said they would get someone round to fix this in a few days time eventually told they would come on last day late afternoon which was inconvenient, I said may as well leave until we check out. They did offer us a basket on first day which did not materialise then was told we would get a refund of some money. When I questioned this I was told freezer was working and light would not be an issue when using the toilet. My advice to owners would be to give house a deep clean and fix issues before reletting. I will be attaching photos of issues raised.

The location was good for us and the property was very secure for us and our 2 year old. The property came with an iron and ironing board which we found useful. A travel cot and high chair was also provided which was great.

The house could do with a freshen up, some walls could do with a re-paint and light bulbs checked regularly to be in working order. Also a new working blind on the kitchen window would be great to stop strangers walking past looking in at night. Overall the property was lovely and we would definitely return.

Upon arrival the house looks small until you enter, spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Both bedrooms were spacious also. Shampoo, conditioner, cotton buds, all kitchen utensils,cutlery and things to make coffee were all there. Texco petrol station right opposite and lidl supermarket a 3min walk away. Manchester town centre was a £6 uber ride away. Even though its a main road its very quiet and we all slept really well. Iron, hairdryer and spare towels were all there, truly felt like home. I didn't use the parking but its very secure and gated

Tv could be a bit bigger as its so open and spacious but thats personal preference

Very secure and clean

Bedroom was very hot.
