Skyview Motel - Prairie du Sac

The place is dingy. Check in was fine. We got to the room, the room was musty smelling so we turned the air conditioner on but left the from door open to air out the room. The keeper came by and told us we had to shut the door if the air is on. How weird is that? It was for a few minutes. Made me feel uncomfortable and weirdly watched.

Room smelled and was dusty

Clean, spacious room. Had a couch. Nice bathtub with jets. Great location for us, because we had just left House on the Rock and planned to visit the dells the next day.

Walls are paper thin, so we heard all the details of our neighbor's business phone call. Our neighbors weren't loud or obnoxious, so the inconvenience was minimal, but if you're thinking of staying here, don't plan on having any sensitive conversations.

Good location, room was clean, staff was pleasant to talk to.

Room was a little small but with the lowest price in the area that was to be expected. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of adequate lighting. The only lights in the room was the two reading lights for the beds. Minor issue but it stood out in my memory..

The staff was creepy, the room smelled terrible. I actually didn’t even stay. After walking into the room I left and went stayed at a different hotel because it was so bad. It was very rundown and felt unsafe.

Everything was fine. It is nice an off the main road with some conveniences of town not far away. The outside area is really nice actually! If i had more time i would have just gone to the picnic area and cooked my dinner. Its a GREAT value. Not fancy but the value, location and things are great. I have stayed in much more expensive places and not had as good of a shower and other amenities.

Outdoor area is great. Shower is great. Room is fine, nothing fancy but its a nice place to stay for a couple days.

Parking is tight

The owner was so sweet, she gave me some recommendations for places to eat and was overall very friendly. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was updated and the property was well kept. Will definitely stay there again next year.
