Green Riders House - Motorbike Rental & Tours

This is one of the better hostels I've encountered in Vietnam. Very comfortable bed, very cool temps in the dorm room. And the staff knows the area and attractions exceptionally well. They also speak fluent English and they work on motor bikes (brake pad replacements, oil changes, etc.). You can also pay by card (3 % surcharge).

The laundry is higher than the going rate, beds don't have their own light, and the place is maintained well and cleaned regularly, but still feels...dirty. Like the light switch panels all have a caked-on layer of dust at the top. The spaces are certainly not super organized and tidy (but really, it's ok). The lockers aren't big enough for your backpacking backpack. The curtains don't make the tightest privacy seal.

I had an amazing time with Green Riders and loved the Cao Bang Loop tour I booked with them - it was one of my highlights during my travels in Vietnam! The staff are wonderful, so kind and accommodating and they made the tour so fun and memorable. Cao Bang is such a stunning province, with so many beautiful sights and landscapes. The hostel is also very clean, cozy and the staff make a huge and delicious breakfast for a good price. They also have a very cute dog who helps look after the guests. If you’re in the north of Vietnam and want to do the Cao Bang Loop, I can’t recommend Green Riders enough. Thank you for the fond memories! 🙏🏻

The beds are comfortable, ac cold and free water refill. The staff here are incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the loop and you can rent a bike through them. They run you through some options and provide a map.

The team at Green Riders are amazing. I stayed in the private room, but the dorms looked very nice and super comfy. The place was very clean and smelled amazing. Stayed with them as I booked a tour with them and they went above and beyond. Thank you all so much.

If you can't ride a scooter like myself, you have limited food options.
