GBThe location was absolutely perfect. It's right by the train station and as we were going to the Cathedral it was just a five minute walk up the high street. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and the layout and furniture was perfect for what we needed. Facilities were excellent and the customer service was extremely on point. It is some of the best customer service I have experienced from a host. It really makes a difference to have such friendly, helpful and professional staff that look after their guests. We were very pleased with the service provided at all times, the apartment and the location as a whole and came away having really enjoyed out stay in Worcester.
I think everything was great. It was quite warm in the apartment due to a heatwave, but the host had fans in the rooms which really made the difference and the hosts were always available to help when required. The stairs are a little steep to the room which makes it a bit difficult to carry up a lot of cases, but as it is a high street accommodation it's understandable that accessibility can be an issue.
GBThe apartment was mostly very spacious if a little cramped at the bedsides. Very smartly decorated and furnished although it could definitely get by with fewer cushions on the beds and sofa. Spotlessly clean throughout and well-equipped. The street was noisy but the secondary glazing kept nearly all the noise out.
A choice of a firmer pillow would have been good, and provision of a loo roll holder for those who find it difficult to twist for the loo roll on the cistern behind them. I was asked by a company called Truvi to very my identify. I admit that this was indeed mentioned in the property description but it came as a surprise at the time. Suddenly I was being asked by a company I had never heard of for personal details such as a selfie and a picture of my passport. How did I know this was not a phishing attack? There was no link on their page to information such as who Truvi are and what they were going to do to keep my highly personal information safe. I had to do my own googling to find the answers. Having provided the details requested I was then hit with a demand for either £25 for a damage waiver or a security deposit that came with an unavoidable £5 "transaction charge". I resent this charge because any cost of verifying my identity belongs to the flat owner, not me. It should be absorbed in the rental cost, not imposed as an additional hidden charge.
