Niseko Ski Lodge - Hirafu

The lodge was actually super cute and so good for a group of 12 friends! We havd 6 bedrooms, with heaps of sleeping space. This isnt luxuary however it was perfect for a ski holiday! So close to the ski lifts, you can literally ski home from the King Gondala through the back car park which was amazing!

Bed configuration is a bit weird, we had a few couples however most of the rooms had 2 single beds that couldnt be pushed together, not the end of the world, still amazing value for money.

Location was excellent. We could walk to Hirafu shopping, restaurants, and food trucks. Ski bus stop is less than five minute walk. If you’re adventurous enough, you can ski to the lodge from Hirafu parking lot.

Property was definitely more rugged than we expected and in need of upgrades. One of the bathrooms was basically unusable. We had a heating issue that took 24 hours to resolve making our first night very uncomfortable. Although the management and maintenance team were very pleasant, response was not necessarily timely. They were also unwilling to make any compensation for lack of heat for 24 hours, which was disappointing.

Excellent location close to ski resort and convenient stores with Mount Yotei view. Plenty of rooms perfect for big groups.
