Ciabot delle Aie - Barolo

This was an incredible place to stay and I would not hesitate to stay again. The hosts were so nice and incredibly helpful. A lovely welcome breakfast tray was laid out for us with some milk, juice to start the stay. The apartment was equipped with everything you would need and the standard of finish was very high. Excellent bed, excellent pillows, wonderful shower and bathroom. Everything was new and modern and the place had everything we could possibly want. The location is a 5 minute walk up to Barolo town on a lit path, it was perfect.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like, this was one of the nicest places I have stayed in Europe.

This was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Barolo. The property is situated just on the outskirts of town and is only a 400m walk into the city to the castle end of town. This is also were there are a number of top restaurants. The apartment is super clean and modern. All furnishings and ammenities are some of the best we have had in Italy. The apartment is even better than we expected and the photos do not do it justice. You get access to your own car park space, which is super convenient, as parking in the town can be troublesome. It was our first time to the area and we looked at a lot of other places to stay in town prior to arriving. Once we had spent some time in town, we were glad that we chose this accommodation over the others. The host, Diego, was extremely helpful. He made our stay there a dream. Him and his family made us feel like we were a part of the family. He runs a micro winery onsite and the wines are delicious, definitely worth a taste. We will be coming back here to stay the next time we are visiting Barolo.

There is nothing I would change about this accommodation. Everything was exactly as we would want it and so much more. If you are looking for the perfect spot to stay, then this is the place for you.

We liked everything about our stay in Ciabot delle Aie. The accommodations were very comfortable. Located just beneath the town of Barolo, the location was ideal. The hosts were wonderful people. Franco and Silvana shared their time with us and made us feel very welcome. Diego provided a superb wine tasting.

Everything was great. There were no negatives for us.

I was looking for an immersive, relaxing experience in the marvellous landscapes of Langhe vineyards, and I found it here. A dive in a sea of green from any window, and the view of the Borgo of Barolo from our small terrace. Very clean and large apartment, welcomed as family members. Wine tasting and expertise of an experienced winemaker. I loved my stay and strongly recommend!

Absolutely nothing!

We had a lovely stay in the newly renovated apartment. Its situated above a microwinery, which we also got to visit and we tasted some of their excellent wines. Diego and his family warmly welcomed us in to their old family home and made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely recommend everybody to stay there.
