MEL 4 seaview 2BED PH in Ghadira by Homely

Absolutely amazing location, fabulous fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, comfortable furnishings, and lots of thoughtful extras i.e wine/bottle of water and other bits to set you up on arrival. Air con in every room.

I don't like to do this but I have to highlight the bedroom situation. For such a fabulous place the bedrooms were far too small, no bedside tables or lamps (no room) they were just big enough for 2 single beds and nothing else, the front sea view room should only sleep one person as the bed is pushed up against the built in wardrobe so rendering it unusable, mattresses on crudely put together boxes, steps down to bedrooms dangerous in the night if you need the bathroom as it's dark and no lamps. Mouldy wall. Other bedroom had same built in wardrobe but that was filled with duvets/pillows and ironing board so rendering that unusable. )ridiculous where are you supposed to put clothes for a 10 day stay). The shower was awful, shower head taped up so water sprayed everywhere, roller blind on shower was stinky and dirty and made it dark when showering, brackets all rusted which I read a review from last year complaining about this and the owner replied it was all sorted...well it's not!!!..we nearly bought a shower head and they were only €4.20 so cheap, why not replace it????. It was such a shame as we would love to return but I'm afraid the bedroom lack of storage and space is too much of an issue.

The kitchen, sitting area and balcony were very nice. The balcony in particular was nice.

The bedrooms were very poor and poorly laid out. There were 2 single beds in both very small rooms (no double bed as it would be impossible to fit one in). The ceiling height for anyone over 6 foot was an issue in both bedrooms and the shower. Crazy design to be honest for a relatively new building. There was a smell of damp in the front bedroom and paint pealing off the walls. Emergency lighting in the stairwell on floor 3 and 4 not working we needed to use our phones to light the way. This was due to the main circuit breaker tripping for the entire property which I was able to reset just inside the front entrance. Overall the property feels a bit neglected and not maintained properly.

Excellent location, incredible views of the bay from the terrace, minimal access to the beach, accessible distance to all possible restaurants, cafes, and shops. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

In windy weather it is quite uncomfortable on the terrace - after all, it is the fourth floor. Perhaps you can think of something else with the placement of the clothes hanger.

Posizione eccezionale con vista mozzafiato praticamente dentro al mare... Appartamento confortevole e dotato di tutti i servizi necessari

Purtroppo mancava la tenda parasole esterna come da foto... È stato posizionato un ombrellone che però non ha dato lo stesso beneficio della tenda...
