Unit A Kaiupoho - Island Elegance: Prime Spot

Easy Check In and amenities were perfectly functional. What a phenomenal spot right off alii drive and walkable to Magics beach. The room had everything we needed even the patio area for space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The parking is easy right out front, easy access with door code. It is one unit inside a multi-unit building with a common front door. The living space is very nice, clean and new, the bed is very comfortable. Had to turn the AC on when we arrived but it wasn’t too hot and cooled down quickly. Love the back patio. Having the sink outside the bathroom is nice, bathroom is standard. Shower a little dirty, but overall acceptable compared to most bathrooms (I have high standards for shower cleanliness). The hosts sent many many messages, but the only thing we needed to do was turn off AC when leaving and lock the doors. I could not figure out how to lock the unit door but the main door was easy

I will dock points because the shower was nothing like the photo on the listing. False advertising is not nice, the shower was standard, a little small but fine, but the listing photo shows a walk-in tiled shower. There were lots of gnats inside by the sink and bathroom. I guess this is to be expected in Hawaii and for the price it’s understandable. However, as soon as we arrived outside and inside, we could hear a loud zapping noise. It went off every second during the night. I went outside, and I could see a flash of light on the balcony above us, perhaps there’s some kind of bug zapper? Anyways, it was very loud and made it difficult to sleep, and it would go off every second or every few seconds. We were tired so we slept ok and only stayed one night, but it was just a crazy thing to experience and not at all acceptable for a relaxing stay. The host did not respond to my message about this but we had already checked out

Location and quiet

The room is ok just like what picture shows,for the price it’s fair enough. I know all the accommodation in Kona r expensive.

If u open the light at night it will attract bugs because the anti-bug nets have holes, the staff should at least remind customer to close the window properly, they didn’t reply my message at all, really bad experience. Also, if u r a light sleeper, then it might be a bit annoying that the bug trap light is beeping for whole night and the wood floor is really thin that I can hear upstairs for whole day.

So cute, clean and comfy

Very comfortable and cozy atmosphere; and simply but nicely decorated; close to many venues- food and shopping, and to the ocean. Easy check in using code entry. Can’t beat the price on this property!

Freezer was in need of defrosting and initial instructions/communication regarding how to access door code to property could have been clearer

Excellent value for money. It was on a quiet location and had all the essentials. It was very clean with beautiful decor. Only dislike not close enough to shops and beach.

Great place to stay. Convenient and prime location. The unit was fully equipped, clean, and comfy.
