Relax, Adventure, Views, Amenities+Memories (Full)

I rented a place described as a having a separate bedroom, paid more for a place with a separate bedroom. When we got here it was the room with a murphy bed only, no separate bedroom. Not a comfortable place with our son along. Not happy that we paid for a bedroom and got a living room only. I tried messaging customer service, responding to emails welcoming us and asking if everything was ok. Tried the front desk, responding to text messages asking if everything was ok. I go no response or was told they couldn't help and I needed to contact the hosts who have yet to respond to any messages. I will not book with these hosts again and will likely not go through booking.com again. Super disappointed. The room was nice but not what we paid for wanted or needed.

For a studio, it was spacious, especially until we opened the murphy bed. Nice patio overlooking a pond. Nice views from the room/patio. The hosts were communicative and obliged with an early check-in.

Google maps took us right past the location. It's a big property, some sections are for long term residents, some not so well kept, not quite a hotel or resort experience. The murphy bed with pointy edges opened next to a noisy fridge. The heating was from the stone ages, we were trying to figure it out middle of the night. Badly needs an upgrade. The mattress itself was covered in plastic. I could not sleep on that. That really did it for me :(
