The Steadings, Aviemore Luxury 5 star rated 3 Bed with home cinema garden and parking

Beautiful home, nice area. Generally well equipped but I don’t think it’s regularly assessed as to what’s working or not. There is a very small outdoor area which is more communal than anything but still nice.

Evidently have had some issues with other residents with the amount of rules/requests and immediate questions from neighbours as you arrive. Unclear as to how many beds can be set up for the place, this needs to be updated on booking.com listing Some form of welcome pack would have been helpful to say how to work the tv/sound system or even the coffee machine which I think actually needed descaled I always find it a bit of a cheek to request guests to empty bins/tidy up when a extortionate cleaning charge is applied. All for being responsible and respectful for others property but requesting bins etc being emptied when charging £150 cleaning fee or saying to go to Tesco to recycle. More towels and kitchen roll would have been expected for a property this size.

Noy only is the apartment worth 5 stars, the management team are as well. The apartment is beautiful inside and out, and we loved every minute staying there. The (magic) cinema wall went down a treat with the kids, and comfy couches surroundings were ideal for a chilled family night after a day's activities. There is a modern luxury feel throughout from furnishings to decor, even the appliances look bespoke. I highly recommend the steadings and would not hesitate in booking again.

Beautiful space..well decorated, clean, had everything we needed for out stay. Beds and couches were comfortable too. Spacious home. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids.

We all love to recycle but as we were walking and had no personal transport we found it a bit of a imposition to be e mailed once we were there and asked to recycle our glass 4km away!

My elderly Mum was in a wheelchair and the property was excellent for her. Every amenity in the kitchen was catered for.

Location was about a mile from the main town area for restaurants, shopping, etc. We had a car so it wasn't a problem after long days of hiking the Cairngorms. Just be prepared if you don't have a car. Very quiet neighborhood. Parking was easy and great. The apartment was very nice with lots of rooms and good amenities. The cinema was great - we took in some of the League 1 play in games. Great sound and video takes up the whole wall. Kitchen was great with all the utensils and appliances you need. Coffee maker was really nice too! Fresh ground coffee in minutes. Everyone appreciated that! Plenty of seating allowing everyone their space. Decent value for money.

Main shower didn't provide shampoo/body wash/conditioner like every other place we stayed in Scotland whether VRBO or Booking.com. As this was touted as luxury we expected more comfort from the beds and linens. As hot as it was, it would have been nice to have a thinner cover. The thick down cover would be great for colder temps but it was getting into the 60's and almost 70's when we stayed. We turned off all the heating units and still opened doors and windows to help cool things off at night for better sleeping temperatures. All the other places we stayed at provided detergent but this one did not. Again, for luxury, we would expect all those details to be accounted for to ensure easy/efficient stay.

We loved our stay in Aviemore! The steadings was absolutely perfect - even better than the photos. The condo was very spacious, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, roomy kitchen and very clean. It is located just 1 minute from Aviemore city center, where there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, etc. So for us, the location was perfect. It was nice to have so much space to move around and warm showers to come home to after a day in Cairngorm National Park. There are other hotels that cater to families but they were not nearly as nice and clean as The Steadings. It was the most perfect condo for 5 of us (me, husband, my mom, and two young kids). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were looking forward to using the Cinema, but apparently the previous guest must have messed with the settings and it wasn't working for us. Our kids were bummed, but it wasn't a huge deal. They had just as much fun watching a movie in one of the rooms on an evening where it was rainy. The host was willing to send someone out to check it out and try to fix it, but we opted out - as it wasn't a big deal to us.
