14 Greenwood Thorness Bay

After reading the previous reviews, I knew the caravan would be basic but I was still left woefully unimpressed. Here's what you don't get if you choose to stay here: WiFi Toilet paper Spoons! Yes literally not a single spoon in the caravan Access to the park facilities including the swimming pool despite that being listed as one of the features of the rental. Hot water (gas ran out) A working heater Here's what you do get: A dirty caravan complete with damp and mould. I honestly can't even begin to describe how poor the entire experience was. This is a caravan that sleeps 6 comfortably so why on earth aren't there 6 plates, 6 bowls, 6 mugs etc? There is damp / mould in several places of the caravan and one of the heaters didn't work at all The not providing entertainment passes though was hands down the most disappointing part. One of the reasons I booked this was because it clearly listed that use of the site swimming pool was included. The owner claims they didn't know about needing the passes which I'm afraid I simply don't believe. I would avoid this one at all costs.

This lady ( ending her mob *4843) I even don’t know who we’re talking on the phone ( Never Listen) Two nights we had problem of heating there is no heating in the car and but other car vans off our family was really awesome and this lady never ever care about any text that we said about the heating about Wi-Fi about hot water and facilitate us . Even when I ask at least give us one hour extra to pack up and she was so rude and never allow us to even pack our stuff and she said because my cleaner is outside are you guys need to leave car rental ASAP without even knowing that we were on holidays And we were with family who cannot even walk. I will strongly recommend to everyone don’t ever try to stay in this caravan. There is no beating at all only one silly fan heater they provide but other all caravan I have seen with proper central heating. Funny part is. This caravan were most expensive than others.

Good location on the island

Black mold everywhere. Even on the bedding. Not clean, pictures must of been taken a few years ago as van is looking very tired now. Gas fire didn’t work, and gas safe cert left in the van was a year out of date

I like the location.

This home is not maintained properly, the bedding were not fresh, bathroom was not cleaned properly and spider nests in main bedroom. The stove, cooker & oven doesn't work. There were only one small heater in the house and main heater is not working. The property owner is not responsive at all. No network for Vodafone or no WiFi.
