We have rented properties in Miami through Booking.com multiple times before and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, this time the experience did not meet our expectations. The description of the property did not match reality. The pool was cloudy and dirty—not just leaves but the water itself seemed poorly maintained. The surrounding neighborhood was also disappointing, with poorly kept lots nearby. The beds were of very low quality, simple and cheap, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The TV room was dark and had an unpleasant smell (possibly mold?). Additionally, there was no comfortable space indoors to sit and relax, like a proper living room or dining area. While the photos of the rooms and outdoor area are technically accurate, they present a misleading impression of the property as a whole. If you’re considering renting this house, ensure you get a very low price and adjust your expectations regarding the standard of accommodation.
