Loved the remoteness

The hut exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic, quite remote in a very quiet part of Skye which suited us well. Great views from every window. The hut itself had everything we needed and every detail was so well thought out! From the set up, to the facilities and even the window placements. It's small but thats clearly shown and was big enough for us for our stay. Didn't feel cramped at all. Bed was comfy. Doesn't have an oven, not needed but something to note. Do a food shop before as its quite a drive to the nearest places to eat. The hut was a brilliant place to stay and I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Loved the space and the location.

The journey out to the property from the main road was fun in itself….the remote feeling as we drove, and yet when arriving it was plain that there were neighbors nearby, and so we didn’t feel like we were in the middle of nowhere all alone. The hut is a well designed tiny house with everything one needs to live comfortably for a while…even a long while! The views and the surrounding countryside are lovely. The sheep next door are a plus as well. Communication with the host was easy and prompt.

Nothing

The space was clean and had everything you would need for a weekend away (and longer if you wanted!) - warm and cosy and we loved it! We woke to glorious views and peace and quiet in the mornings. The windows were indeed picture windows, and there were walks you could take along the coast and down to the shore. There was a parking slot assigned to the accommodation, which made it easier. The ferry terminal and a local shop were about 10 mins in the car.

It was a little to one side of the island and so it took about and hour and half to get to the Old Man of Storr and the Neist point lighthouse but they are at the other end of the island so this is understandable. The local shop wasn't open until Monday so we had to make sure we had breakfast and dinner supplies with us. Other food places were approx. half an hour away on the main road but again, over a weekend, not everything is available/accessible

Perfect stay, the view is amazing, you are litteraly surrounded by sheeps. We loved staying in the hut !

Drive to the Hut is not for the faint of heart.
