2 BR & 1WR Suite at Villa Costa Verde near Playa Cofresi, Puerto Plata with a pool, balcony, and a rooftop terrace

Did you ever stay somewhere and think "I wish I could give a rating of 11 out of 10"? This is that kind of place! The villa and gardens are beautiful and well taken care of. The 3rd floor terrace is very large with an amazing view of the ocean and Puerto Plata - it's a place where you can do laundry, have a BBQ, or enjoy your morning coffee. The wifi is decent, and I was able to take video meetings for work. The villa is a few minutes walk to the beach, where there are restaurants and a well-stocked mini-market. If you are looking for upscale dining, the Terrace at Ocean World is less than 10 minutes walk away, with an extensive menu of Dominican and American cuisine and where you can listen to local music while enjoying the amazing view overlooking the marina. George and Sylvana are lovely human beings. They were very attentive and responded quickly to every request we had. My fiancé (now husband) and I stayed here for 4 weeks and they were very welcoming and made us feel at home throughout our stay. I felt very safe with the on-site security guard, even on nights when I was alone because my husband was working until midnight. We got married at the court house half way through our stay and George and Sylvana let us have a few friends and family over for a BBQ on the terrace to celebrate, and even joined us for a toast. Sylvana even made a special gluten-free dessert for me for the celebration. WOW!

The Villas located very close to the beach. In fact, the beach is visible from the patio. This beautiful Villa is well kept, clean safe, and a great deal for your dollar!

There was really nothing I didn't like. I stayed there for over a month and actually extended for another 2 weeks.

Costa Verde is a really great place to stay. It's rare for me to find a place that has no major problems until now. Huge living room open to dining room/kitchen with all brand new appliances. Lots of dishes, glasses, silverware and cookware provided. Only thing missing was a Microwave. Bathrooms were modern and very clean. Giant TV, WiFi everywhere. MOST IMPORTANT: Great Air Conditioners in both bedrooms! Ceiling fans as well. There is a huge, covered deck outside the living room & kitchen with a table and nice rocking chairs. The view from the deck is gorgeous. The pool is amazing! Short walk to Charros, delicious Mexican restaurant.

The light didn't work in one of the bathrooms (wasn't a big problem for me, since there are two full bathrooms) an easy fix which I'm sure will get done soon.
