A nice apartment

The apartment is getting a little tired (floor mats stained)

wonderful location a stones throw from the beach clean comfortable well equipped accommodation friendly hosts. There are 2 apartments Ohope Dreamer 1 and Ohope Dreamer 2 one is upstairs the other on ground level each with their own entry. The hosts are immediately next door (big home divided into 3) however we did not hear them and hardly saw them. We stayed upstairs but viewed both apartments. Either were very suitable. We choose upstairs for the beach view from side window. Downstairs the bathroom is bigger, upstairs the bathroom is very compact but was fine for us. Although property is on the main Ohope to Opotiki road we were not troubled by road noise. Highly recommended we would stay again.

Was a cute quiet space very quaint. Husband and I enjoyed our stay and time there. Paul the host was extremely hospitable and he lives on site at the back.

Inside the unit was clean, apart from dust and bits of rubbish visible under the bed. Good communication with the owner. Located next to beach access.

Outside: car space was shared with "stuff" under a cover, mowers, a scaffold thing and other "stuff" that could have been cleared away. The patio to the side of the unit also had a lot of "stuff" on it. Was disappointing as this was the side where the sun is. Despite the net curtains, it made for an unpleasant view. It was better to keep the blind down on that side. Inside: very little to no info re how to work equipment such as the sound bar. Watching a tv at a loud volume was irritating. Turning it down lost all volume. The bed looked welcoming but was too hard for me (may suit others). I slept on the couch.
