"Very good"

8.0

Excellent location, in the pedestrian area of the old center, next to the ladies who make orecchiette in front of their houses and sell them. At the same time, close to the street where there are paid parking spaces. Clean room, with a very small bathroom. Quick check-in and check-out via the key box.

Dampness on the wall next to the entrance and musty smell, it was still warm and I kept the window on the entrance door (the only existing one) open the whole time. For one night it was fine.

"Too hot and uncomfy for an August stay"

4.0

Right in old town Bari so you can walk anywhere there within 15min, so location was perfect for a 3 day visit in the area. It’s a cute street and piazza right near by with le nonne making pasta right outside your door. Convenient and quick self check-in (key lock box). The owner/host is very responsive and nice, clear instructions on how to get there & flexible with ideas for parking for us. It was a quiet side street at night so didn’t hear anything at night/in the morning.

It’s a very tiny apartment, more of a bedroom really with a very small bathroom. Bathroom is smaller than what you’d expect even in a small studio apartment. My partner is average height and skinny and even she was bumping elbows of the shower walls when using it. The shower isn’t the most clean, many areas of mold and/or other organic growth that aren’t being treated correctly. The apartment also smells a bit moldy/moist upon entry which is attempted to be covered by air scents. In fairness we were here towards the end of August so it is a very hot month for Italy, making it very uncomfortable to remain in the room for more than 1 hour. A wall air conditioning unit would’ve made A WORLD of a difference, so much so that we’d overlook the bathroom as is. There is a large fan to help circulate air but it just blows around humid, hot air, making it an uncomfortable sleep. This also makes it hard for towels/clothes to dry after a shower or if you’re back from the Puglia beaches, so everything remains slightly damp. The bed is fine, pillows are super thick and stiff. Wi-Fi seems to come from an upstairs modem/router as there is an extender downstairs in the room itself. It has a very weak, inconsistent internet connection so we had to do any planning & web surfing on cell data or restaurant wi-fi outside of the home. I strongly recommend going in/out of the door quickly to avoid letting in any mosquitos as they’ll bug you all night and thrive in the warm room. Also be sure to have some cash leftover to leave for the city room tax.

"Perfect for 2 or 3 nights in the city"

5.0

The localization is amazing in the heart of the old town. It is close to every corner of the old city, to every square, every restaurant is maximum 10 min on foot.

There is no air conditioning only a fan which is not enough for heat 30 plus Celsius degrees but for 2 or 3 nights you can survive. The bathroom is very small.

"Not bad"

6.0

Great location - close to bars, shops, restaurants and the popular pasta street. The place is cozy, there was coffee and cold water left in the fridge, which was much appreciated during the heatwave. There was also a basket with some pastries, which I find really kind of the owner.

Extremely hot due to lack of windows and AC. Hard to sleep and even breathe. There was a fan, but this definitely was not helpful enough; really tiny shower cabin. Also, slightly hard communication with the owner as she was texting in Italian. Overall, cute place, but probably wouldn’t visit again.

"Great location and the host is very kind."

9.0

Location was very central and easy to get to - if you want to be in the heart of the old city, it's great. Close to restaurants, bars, etc. Joy left some snacks which was really great as I arrived so late at night after a long train delay. She also helped me store my luggage on my day of check out. She was very helpful!

This isn't necessarily a bad thing but just a tip to bring some ear plugs if you like to sleep in the mornings as the neighbourhood is very alive and lots of people are around all the time.

"Passable"

5.0

The landlady was very nice and helpful, the place is super clean, the room basic but the bed comfortable and the heating works very well.

The room is in the basement, i.e. dark with not view at all. There is no window, only at the door an opening to the street. The two available chairs are uncomfortable.
