The property was clean and made to look homely

Upon entry, the van was overpowering with the smell of Air fresheners on full blast in every room. These were clearly being used to smoother the odour of dogs. Once unplugged this was heavily evident. So bad that we were both unable to sleep in the main double bed room which was obvioulsy the main pet room.. The whole van had this sickly odour of air freshener versus dog odour.. This coupled to the unexpected , over 1/4 mile walk to to the main road and any amenaties made our stay extremely dissapointing and veey uncomfortable. If we had not already promised to be with our famiy and grand children that evening , who were in another near location we would not have stayed on.. We have enjoyed some fabulous van holidays in Ingoldmills over the last 5 years. , cost being compatible.but class being far superior in every way.. This stay was extremely dissapointing. The van should be advertised as for pet freindly people ONLY in particukr not suited to anyone with Athsma problems Also the location should also be stressesd as being a very long walk from the main road and ameneties. Not left to be found as such upon arrival.. We feel we have been sold a more than poor deal by booking.com with this caravan. Yours Sincerely S J.Guyler.

Host was super friendly, professional, helpful and promptly answered any questions we had prior to our stay. Caravan was decorated nicely, felt very homely and comfortable. Location convenient to local shops, bars and amusements.
