Excelente localização. Estadia ótima o anfitrião foi bastante simpático. Levamos os nossos 4 patas que adoraram as praias para cães na região. Local a voltar!

The property is very well-located, and has great comfort and facilities. Spotless clean and the owner is friendly and helpful. We loved it!

I looooooved my stay here! It’s so spacious and right on the Camino path for pilgrims. I personally love animals so enjoyed the dog and cat on the property who were both very friendly! The washing machine was a lifesaver as well. This is my favorite spot I’ve stayed on the Camino!

The location is literally on the Camino as you're leaving Redondela. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the small but nice city center that has tons of bars and restaurants, and very close to a nice grocery store, bakery and pharmacy. The guesthouse is spacious with a double (queen?) bed and two bunk beds, so it would be great for a family. The kitchenette is basic but perfectly fine. There's a small washing machine on the patio and a clothes drying rack. Everything was perfectly clean. We stayed at Casa do Choco for one of our Camino rest days, so we stayed two nights. We arrived the afternoon of the peninsula-wide power outage in May 2025 without any cash and pretty beaten down by all the walking. I didn't catch people's names, but the dad was incredibly generous and kind - he drove us around town to find an open bar/restaurant and the loaned us money to cover dinner. What a mensch!! I really can't recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking for a place to take a rest day, do laundry, bandage your feet, etc.!

The location isn't super private (the guesthouse is in the main house's backyard), but on the plus side we got to hang out with their cat and dog, who provided us much amusement!

Our host David was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He communicated with us prior to our arrival, and this ensured a smooth and hassle free entry into the property. The accommodation itself was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the extras provided by our host were unexpected but greatly appreciated. The Camino route passes directly past the front door and could not be better located. Excellent host and property. Highly recommended.
