Dera Jawai - Best Safari Lodge in Jawai Bandh

Great little gem in the beautifully remote Jawai. From the first minute, we felt welcomed and at home. The rooms are excellent, the views during the leopard safari are amazing, and both the exceptionally polite owner and Mr. Sanklaram add a special touch to the experience. 100% recommended.

Really easy to arrange leopard safaris from here. Room was comfortable with nice outdoor sitting area and pool was a benefit. We enjoyed the food.

A menu of drinks and snacks would have been helpful.

We loved our time at Dera Jawai, if we visit Jawai again we will definitely stay here. The hotel feels very relaxed and chilled, a beautiful layout, lovely rooms and pool. The food was excellent, the breakfasts plentiful, and the staff were so nice. We really enjoyed the pool, and relaxing outside our tent on the veranda. It represents good value for money for Jawai but Jawai is expensive for India, I'm not sure why. The listing probably still says that it's zero payment upfront, but this is not true and you will be asked to pay half upfront. Knowing that this booking website has faced hacking issues before the deposit request made me nervous, but everything was perfect.

They organised really great safari , glamping experience with fresh homemade kind of food

The property can be cleaned better .. there were plastic bottles in the stream at the property

Fantastic boutique hotel in close proximity to the wildlife and some of the most stunning scenery I have ever seen. Staff were attentive to our needs and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend this property to travelers.

We traveled at the height of winter, and the dining was a little chilly, but nothing that could not be overcome with proper clothing. That didn't warm the plates though, so while the food was delicious is did get a bit cold quicker than needed.
