The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful. Located outside of the city which is better for those wanting to move ahead towards Bhalukpong or Tawang.

Beautiful Place and Best Homestay in Tezpur

The boys who helped us check in at the site. These were the guys who were there managing the property - they were polite and sweet and tried their best to accommodate but to little avail. The AC worked well and there was a power generator on site.

The room linen was dirty. The most disappointing part was the washroom. It had 2 AC vents dropping water directly onto the floor of the washroom, one of which was near the bathroom door entrance, leaving the floor wet and slippery at all times. The toilet seat was also broken.

The property itself is stunning with modern rooms and amenities , beautiful photography by the hosts, and magical sunsets from the balcony/terrace. But the management has turned it into a nightmare with deception and hostility!

1. We arrived at 1:30 PM (after the 1:00 PM check-in time) after a long, exhausting journey. They took our IDs and our money immediately, then casually told us the room wasn't ready and just walked out. No apology. No More importantly, we were constantly updating the manager our arrival time and yet this behaviour. 2. I specifically called the manager beforehand to ensure a private balcony and kitchen. He said there is no kitchen but the balcony is there. We saw a post it note in the room and realised it’s a shared balcony , with full mirror doors, meaning we had to keep our curtains shut the entire time. More than shared balcony, it’s the deception and blatant lie told by the staff with no remorse. 3. When we finally got inside, I was heartbroken. The white towels had ugly yellow stains. I turned on the shower and spider webs from the shower tap fell directly on me. There were still stains from a party the night before. Atleast, they provided clean bed linens. It felt like such a slap in the face after waiting so long. No matter how nice the property is, your safety and mental peace aren't worth it. The management is dishonest, dismissive, and disrespectful. We planned to stay a week but ultimately left early. Please, think twice before booking. 😖😖😖 P.S. Watch for the "10 star” reviews following this one. Fun fact: The names on those reviews magically match the staff members on-site. What else can you expect from the staffs that spend more time praising themselves on reviews , than actually working to get it!!! 😣😔
