Nebula Nest Cafe & Hostel

Nebula Nest is set in a fantastic setting surrounded by forest. Great breakfast, lunch and coffee were served in the small open air cafe. Christina and Mutha were very friendly and helpful during our stay, organising use of a motor bike and taxi when we were leaving. Atmosphere at Nebula Nest was peaceful and enjoyed meeting other guests and talking to owners/staff.

It was a beautiful place to unwind yourself amidst nature. Travel alone or with friends this place is very friendly and so are the owners. You will be happy to get an amazing breakfast and fantastic conversation on the sides. Its spacious, comfortable, clean and just what your soul needs. Best for workation as it has impeccable internet which exceeded my expectations

It's a quiet place near Auroville, the common area is a good place to hang around, 2 cats also live here. Staff was helpful although not fulfilling all my requests. Manoj, a volunteer, took an enormous amount of time just to bring me to a restaurant, a shop and back, because it was already getting dark on the first night. Incredible service you won't get anywhere in Germany. Breakfast was good, although every day the same. Possibility to have a laundry. I got a bike to use from one the owners. I met interesting people here.

THE ROOM only had a mattrass in it and the switches were hard to reach. There is nothing in the room to put your stuff on and it may even fall through the bamboo floor. Even the dorm had more comfort. Room smelled like urine when I came, maybe because one of the dogs recently peed underneath it. Room wasn't ready when I came after 5pm. My message on booking wasn't answered for 2 months. No proper towel was provided although I asked 3 times for it. I got a piece of cloth instead. SANITARY facilites are dirty and toilet paper was only refilled after asking for it (it was empty for almost the whole day). There is no towel in the toilet/bathroom area. Only cold shower. Staff is not always around. THE DOGS will keep you awake until ~23:00 and wake you up before 7:00. They keep 3 of them, moreover the adjacent area also has a lot of dogs. This is a very big minus point! Overall it's noisy when people don't respect the quiet time (which no one enforced). THE COMMON AREA was the best part of it, but there is only 1 comfortable space which is the bed. WiFi often wasn't working. The woman working in the kitchen doesn't speak English. You are NOT ALLOWED TO COOK in the kitchen. Oh btw: this is NOT A CAFE as the name suggests. You can get a few teas when someone is around but they do not provide dinner. The tea I had and the coffee others had were incredibly strong. My stomach didnt like it at all. Overall, way too little comfort/basic amenities for the money
