RiverWalk Villa I Private Dock & Water Views

The space was clean and nicely designed, but lacking basic functionality.

My family and I recently stayed at RiverWalk Villa I – Private Dock & Water Views, and it was, without exaggeration, the worst experience we have ever had due to poor property management. The property is unsafe, misrepresented in photos, poorly maintained, and managed with a complete disregard for the guest experience. I spent every day of our stay messaging the property manager, Arturo. When a rental is properly managed, you should not have to speak with the property manager at all. Instead, I spent hours troubleshooting issues that never should have existed. Below are the most concerning issues future guests deserve to know: Safety & Privacy • The duplex consists of two units separated only by a thin interior door with gaps on all sides and a small hook latch. • We could see light through the cracks, hear conversations clearly (I heard an episode of a podcast of the neighbor as if it was in the room with me). • Steam came through the door frame from what appeared to be the shower in the other unit. • We did not feel comfortable sleeping in the king bedroom because there was zero privacy. Outside • The hot tub didn’t work for our entire stay. When I reported it, the property manager (Arturo) argued that it had been “in perfect working order” before, which didn’t help our situation. Although he sent someone to look at it, it was never repaired, and he refused to offer any compensation. Location • The home is located between two parking lots. The listing photos are misrepresentative and use creative angles to make the location look better than it is. Living Room • The lamp by the reading chair purposely did not function; the manager told me it was “for design purposes”--bizarre. Bathrooms • We were provided a “starter kit” of toilet paper, which was one roll and a quarter of a second roll (with a stamp seal) in each bathroom for a week. We were told that it is our responsibility to get toilet paper for our stay.

Location and property were great. The host was great as well.

There was no hot water to take a shower. There was no soap or shampoo in the dispenser. The garbage was full when we arrived.

House was spacious and comfortable, loved the den area and the backyard with the river view and the jacuzzi.

Place was a little confusing to find but other than that no complaints.

Great amenities and quiet. Really enjoyed my stay here
