No93 Boutique Guest House

Sheila and Mark were fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome. I’d read that the breakfast was very good, but it far exceeded my expectations - everything was perfect. Lots of choice with a pre-order the night before. We stayed in room 2 and found it very comfortable, it was great to have the downstairs seating areas where you could relax rather than being sat in your room. The location is great and although on the main road it is very quiet at night. The town centre, with a good selection of cafes, independent shops and pubs, is a couple of minutes walk away. It’s also a great base to explore the area from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying on a future occasion.

Fabulous place in a great location, breakfast - the best we’ve had in a long time . Such friendly hosts too! Lovely treats in the room and Milton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. Would recommend.

Lovely bedroom and large bathroom. Very welcoming to us and our dog. Amazing breakfast.

The guest house is located within a 5 minute walk of the town centre. Despite being on a main road it was quiet. Sheila and her husband were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The decor was lovely and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Incredibly generous portions and the genuine American pancakes ( only available at the weekends) are epic!

The only thing that could have made the stay perfect, would to have had a bigger bed! Although a regular double, it was a bit too small as we are used to sleeping in a very large bed. Also, a kettle would have been preferable to the coffee making machine .

Our second stay here and it was again, exceptional. Sheila looked after us wonderfully and we felt so welcomed and comfortable. We feel so lucky to have No93 nearby for when we need it.

Honestly if you’re considering booking this place, just do it! You will NOT be disappointed. If I could rate a place higher than the scale, this would be it! They have done a beautiful job of setting up their location. Everything from comfortable beds, which you would expect, down to the small details like in floor heat in the bathroom, beautiful big bath towels, quality soaps, and a meal that shouldn’t be missed! The rooms are a very nice size with some chairs as well in ours, and there are more common area spaces to enjoy throughout the house. If we were ever in this neck of the woods, we would without fail make a detour to come stay with Sheila and Mark. Lovely people with hospitality in their veins!

I had to think long and hard to come up with anything not to like… how about this: Sheila left us AMAZING treats from the local bakery for our arrival. We couldn’t just leave them sitting there, so we wolfed them down right before bed! Not a good bedtime snack 😉.
