Parking: is 10m behind a building, very big, open, under camera, cost 5 euro/day(24h) BUT each enter you have to pay 5 euro!! It is good if you go out once a day. it works: 1. you get a ticket in the evening 2. drive your car to the ramp, ger out , go 10 steps to pay machine 3. you scan ticket code, and pay 5euro 4. scan the ticket on the ramp and the ramp gets up, you leave Street parking is 1euro/h., not problem to find. We were 4 days (29. Oct. - 1. Nov) There is Lidl cca 1,5km away but I wouldn't walk there during night. Very poor area. Mini stove works! Actualy, no view, there is a view from 4 bed room to parking so you can see your car. The owner, Francesco je nice guy, do not speak English but he is very into technology so he translate everything fast and answer sms quickly. It is very new room, all works on card. 1st floor, old building. Castellammare is the best position if you wish to drive around Amalfi. All other places /villages are soooo lack of parking and narrow.

I would add only a mattress pad because the sheet is on naked mattress. Although the mattress was just right soft for me. We had to put cell phone on window ( bring a good plastic bag and some string!!) because the house signal was so weak or it didn't work at all, nor my worked (I had my own because I'm from EU).

Very nice gentleman who welcomed us and showed us the hotel. Parking 20m from the hotel, paid but only 5 euros per day. Super location close to moża, promenade and stores and restaurants. Rooms super. Super as a base for a trip to amalfi or sorrento.
