Location, cosy, good kitchen, washing machine

Bedroom quite small, a little tricky moving around the bed & no room for luggage. Glad we didn’t need to use the upstairs bedrooms - the stairs were scary!

"We had a fabulous stay , a little minor things as stated in last comment but apart from that a loved our stay and would"

9.0

A loved the uniqueness of the property and how cozy and family oriented it was.

The parking was a nightmare at times also the sky light in the down stairs bedroom as day light woke us up rather too early every morning as there isn’t a blind or anything on it as it’s in the ceiling

"Lovely, convenient location for a weekend stay"

7.0

The location was great — we were in the area for a wedding so it was perfectly convenient to walk back. We were three couples so it was spacious for all of us. Appliances that you needed were readily available. Very cute back garden, but I believe it’s shared with a neighbouring property so we were hesitant to sit outside in the sun. There’s a Co-op right downstairs and a pub across the street. Which was handy to not have to go far to pick up any essentials. Lots of board games to use and a TV. Spacious dining space right off the living room area too. Overall a lovely place to stay for the weekend, pleased with the space for what we paid.

The keys were not in the lockbox as described in the information email ahead of check in (it even included a picture of the incorrect lockbox). Unsure if they forgot to update it, but it was actually the lockbox at the front entrance. Another important piece of information: please be cautious on the stairs going to the rooms upstairs. They are steep, I believe there’s a partially slanted step, and carpeted in slippery fabric—which resulted in a nasty fall early the next morning (and an injured toe). Note that the free parking is actually the space in front of the Co-Op downstairs, as you would pull in for a quick stop at a convenience shop off the main road. We luckily managed to fit three cars but it was a busy weekend in town. I think one of the single beds is a type of rollaway cot which was not very comfortable but served its purpose—just a heads up!

Very well appointed, extremely comfortable. Enjoyed convenience of supermarket and pharmacy very close by. Plenty of space for kids to play.

No vacuum cleaner, no tumble drier

Clean. Homely. Quirky. Inviting . Cared for . The owners have made the best use of the property .

I would have like a couple of butter packs . The stairs are very steep, nut that can’t be helped.

"Pleasant location but should have been clearer about stairs"

6.0

Good location, quirky decor

We were three older people and the description was not honest about the very steep narrow stair which was an anxiety.
