The Surf House (Widemouth Bay)

The view. Very quiet.

Excellent location about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Property was clean, spacious and came fully equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely enclosed back garden for our dog. Off road parking. Beautiful views from the lounge and dining area.

The water was not very hot in the master bedroom so couldn't enjoy a hot bath during our stay.

The view first and foremost is amazing! A 5 minute walk to the beach, what more could you ask for?! The facilities were great and the house was clean and tidy. Plenty of room for our family and our pup. The house is so spacious, we didn’t feel cramped at all which is hard to come by these days.

There wasn’t anything we could say we didn’t like apart from check out day as we didn’t want leave!!

Fantastic location overlooking the beach, and a beautifully presented property. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotlessly clean and lots of things were provided to make life easier on arrival - dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, teabags, bin liners, biscuits.

Nothing we didn’t like - but just a couple of things which would have made it perfect. We would have preferred to be able to have a shower in the en-suite of the main bedroom but there was just a bath - so we asked our daughter each day if we could use the shower which was joined to her bedroom. Also - no fridge door shelves in the kitchen fridge to store liquids such as milk upright. So when making a cup of tea or coffee in the kitchen we had to walk to get the milk from the utility room down the corridor. Just minor points though.

A lovely property just 5 minute walk from the beach. 'Check in' was smooth, the host was helpful and the house was great. It was clean and spacious and facilitated beach trips well with an outdoor shower to rinse off with.

The only slight downside was that the beds in the twin room are a little small. Not a problem for kids, but if you're 5'10"+, you'll have to squish just a bit.

Very homely and had all that you need for a fab stay, beds were comfy and the view out of this world!

Everything location fab. Had all the facilities we needed for our two weeks sat! Even our dog had a great stay and settled well.

Excellent location to the beach. 5 minutes drive to Bude. House much bigger than the photos and very well presented throughout.

Sometimes quite a strong smell from the boiler and some of the amenities had issues.
