Misty Hills Villa - Kandy

It was so cozy and comfy, especially Kandy’s weather was rainy this visit and I wanted to feel like I’m home! It’s perfect place exactly for this! Hot water, soft bed with blanket and a lot of pillows! Cute design! And staff always here and ready to bring you hot tea or coffee! Plus amazing view!

We liked the view a lot. In addition the caretaker of the house was very kind and welcoming. It was a perfect stay in the misty hills villa because the room was clean and comfortable.

We were there for 4 days and the rooms are amazing, a mix of modern and really cozy with the wooden ceiling and furniture. The host and the caretaker were really nice and gave a lot of good tips about what to do in Kandy. The caretaker even cooked dinner for us - super delicious! The host recommended us to hike the Pekoe Trail and it was really overwhelming. He said most people don’t stay that long in Kandy but I’d say its definitely worth staying longer as there is a lot to do! And of course the view .. waking up to this was truly amazing and we would always come again!

To start off, the location was absolutely breathtaking. The views, and the road upwards was much easier to navigate than traditional hillside stays. The caretaker: Mr. Bandara was very hospitable and made our trip quaint and charming. Overall I would recommend a stay at Misty Hills if you are visiting and staying in kandy with a yearning for the country side experience.

Beautiful views over the Kandy Hills, which are worth the price alone, delightful caretaker for whom nothing was too much trouble, helpful host who supported from afar.

The room felt like it hadn't been used for a while as it was very dusty and would have benefited from a deep clean. The toilet was also leaking. The guest house was difficult to find which, as a solo traveller, bothered me.

this hotel is located in a top of the hil and I went there around 10pm and I kept calling more 10-20 times but no one cared to answered and I had to sleep in the car for entire night . so I do not recommend this hotel for anyone

One of the best views you can get of the Peradeniya road as you look over the spacious balcony.

A lovely location with clean facilities. It was a memorable stay. Glad I chose this location for a much needed relaxation.

We had an amazing stay here! The owner was so nice and send us a lot of recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed! The man who took care of the house was super sweet and enthousiast. He made a amazing breakfast & dinner for us and always helped us with everything. And the place itself is just beautiful! Clean, hot water & quiet. We would love to come back here, The owner and the caretaker of the house made our stay amazing!
