Coastal Escape

Location was excellent, very close to everything, lots of places to eat, lots of pubs, all very good and friendly, close to seafront, overall really enjoyed our stay, looking forward to returning. thank you.

not knowing till morning of departure where we could park, because in the photos supplied the streets looked like we couldnt park anywhere near to property.

The location of the property was great, very close to the beach. Hosts were very responsive to all my questions before the visit and on the day of arrival. Key access is very straightforward. The property was spotlessly clean and the kitchen well equipped. Downstairs loo is a bonus as stairs are quite steep for older possibly less mobile guests

The twin beds both had thin foam mattresses and very lumpy pillows - possibly not an issue for children but more so for adults, especially if staying for more than one night. The twin room had no cupboard or wardrobe space at all, so the only option was to push luggage under the bed and live out of our holdhalls - just about ok for one night but not for any longer. Although able to sleep 4, there was sofa seating for only 3 people in a very compact living area As mentioned by other reviewers, parking outside the property is very tight.

The location was good the property had everything you needed, close to the town centre and beach, quiet location considering how close it was to the town. Plenty of cleaning products and little things like salt and pepper, cartons of milk, sugar tea bags to get you started.

It could do with an extra arm chair, bean bag or something, you could sit 3 on the sofa but it wasn't comfortable, so one of us had to sit on a dining chair which is uncomfortable after a couple of hours. There needs to be a shower matt fir the bath, it is quite high stepping into and out ofvthe bath to shower and one time I slipped while showering. There's a crack in the front door that let's in day light. None of the knives were sharp a knife sharpener would be helpful. There wasn't any local information in the house, places to visit, good restaurants etc.

Staff provided lots of pre booking information, very helpful. Unfortunately we were given the incorrect pin code, but this was quickly remedied once we phoned. Location perfect - quiet lane, close to town and everywhere that we were visiting that evening.

Furnishings were ok and functional, but the cottage sadly was not somewhere you would wish to spend much time in. Cleaning standards ok, but cutlery drawers should be made tidy as should the games cupboard in the lounge. Weeds in patio area could have easily been removed and perhaps pots/plants could be added to make it more appealing for guests to sit outside. (Garden furniture needed wiping down too). House perfect location wise, but fixtures and furnishings are very basic - not a homely feel to the property. Light fitting to downstairs toilet needs replacing as 'string very soiled at the bottom'. The bath is very narrow so suitable for slim guests, but more difficult for larger guests like my husband who used the shower facility instead. Overall, the cottage is very basic inside, location very good, but we sadl y wouldn't return.

Clean, well-equipped, comfortable cottage. Very close to the sea and shops.

parking space was very tight. I have a small car. A family car would have struggled to park
