Premium Homestay Near Banke Bihari Ji with Power Backup-Free WiFi-Washing Machine in 1BHK

The Room was large, clean and very well maintained. The hosts were lovely and if there was an issue it was resolved quickly. Location was brilliant right in the middle of the old town with most places of interest within walking distance. There is a generator in the hotel that comes on during power cuts but obviously if there is a long power cut it can’t cover the entire period but there is emergency lighting and the fan will continue to work if the generator cuts out. My room didn’t have windows ( I believe the others do but that didn’t worry me so much as the ample size of the room, pleasant lighting and decor made up for it and had the additional bonus of being quiet. There was also enough ventilation with the fan and air conditioning.

The guest house could be little difficult to find as it does not have a sign. Best call the host if you get lost. This is not something to do with the guest house as it’s an issue in Vrindavan, but I had my glasses snatched by a monkey on the street. If you wear glasses consider wearing contacts.

This apartment exceeded all expectations! Spotlessly clean with a design worthy of a 4-5 star hotel. The reliable hot water and strong shower pressure were a welcome luxury in India. The location couldn't be better – everything, including main temples, market - is easily walkable. But the true highlight is the exceptional host family. Their genuine care made us feel like part of their own. We loved this place so much, that we even moved to their larger apartment with a kitchen and rooftop for the rest of our week! Highly recommend 🙏

The small apartment doesn't have a window to let in natural morning light, which could make waking up a little challenging. However, the ventilation is excellent, with a properly working fan and air conditioning ensuring a comfortable stay.
