Bathroom too small, tv didn't work well.. needs updating and a better clean

The location was convenient.

We booked this apartment for a local music festival and unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. While the listing seemed promising, we encountered several issues. The bathroom had a severe musty mouldy smell which made the apartment smell damp. There was a lingering smell of weed in the hall way of the flat building. On arrival we noticed we were left with half a toilet roll (we had 3 guests for 3 nights), meaning we had to purchase this necessity ourselves. On our first evening we arrived back to no electricity. We rang the host who advised someone would be there in the morning. This was then resolved just over 12 hours later. An hour after it was fixed, the electric went off again due to one of the plug sockets, which we were not made aware of. This left us without basic necessities of showering (electric powered shower), charging electrical devices, lights, food wastage in the fridge and also losing time and money on our festival. The host was responsive and understanding but were not efficient with this issue. While the overall location was convenient, the overall experience did not meet expectations and definetly not worth the amount we paid. I hope these issues are addressed and resolved for future guests.

Location is great, towels are huge, beds are comfortable.

I see the point with the past reviews of this place, but they are overly harsh. They need new cleaners, but it's not filthy - I just expect more for the money. The kitchen floor does need to be replaced, but it's a short stay, not my forever home. They could do with moving the bathroom sink so you can sit on the loo, agai,n not a disaster. Spend £1000 on the place and it's 10/10.

Apartment in Cairo Street was reeking of damp beds in one room to narrow for comfort or too keep covers on floor sloping and moving due too floor underneath laminate floor bathroom so narrow almost unusable, has been given a lick of paint to make it seem better but was awful, they moved to another apartment which was a one bedroom with a sofa bed unfortunately there was no clean bedding ,there was dirty bedding stuffed into on old chest in the bedroom cupboard, no way I was using that ,I complained and it got me no where not enough hot water for 2 to shower in the morning. Avoid at all costs awful accommodation awful service. Have used them for accommodation in Stockton heath and that was fine and the one bedroom apartment would have been okay .Was offered no financial remuneration for getting a cheaper and smaller alternative, disgrace really

Was worried it being near the nightlife might cause noise issues, but was relatively quiet. Clean and well furnished and easy to reach. Having the extra bits in the kitchen and bathroom was very welcome.

Some floorboards starting to dip or come up, had to be careful with a kid around. Hot water would take a while to get going as well, but fortunately didn't affect showers.

I would not recommend this apartment to anyone as I was disappointed from check-in to apartment entry. He's just awful.

I rented an apartment to stay with my boyfriend 4 days when I arrived to get the key I was super scared, because the place is dirty, dangerous and horrible. When I entered the apartment, I was very disappointed as it didn't have any kind of comfort, it was dirty, smelly. I was forced to rent a hotel for the parts because the apartment was impossible to stay.. When I contacted the owner talking about my unhappiness asking him to return my money, he was very dishonest and rud and did not refund my money for my stay. I didn't stay in the apartment and he ended up taking my money so guys please don't fall into that trap, you're going to be very disappointed in this apartment.
