Moon Malta Boutique Stay with Rooftop Pool & Sea Views of Valletta, Grand Harbour & Three Cities

Moon is well located, only a 10 minute walk from the 3 cities Ferry terminal or around 20 minutes from the airport. We were in the ground floor double room, which was a nice room. Cute and historic stone features. Simply furnished but tasteful. Nice modern bathroom still with original features. The room had no aircon but had a fan. No fridge or TV. Coffee and snacks provided were a nice touch. We had no issues of noise, but there is a church clock chime through the night if you are sensitive to that. Down a small side alley so no cars driving past. Our host was very nice and helped with all our needs.

The room is quite light at night due to a street light just outside the window that shines in. Could do with better curtaining.

Lenka is a perfect host, pool is great, location is close to ferry to Valleta.Only missing thing is a little fridge. Thanks Lenka one more time for everything, we enjoyed our stay.

The family room on the first floor was great and if I was rating it on that alone it would have scored exceptional. The bathroom for this room sits above the room via a steep spiral staircase which is a feature in itself. The facilities at the hotel and the standard of the accommodation was fantastic.

My room on the ground floor was noisy and didn't have air-conditioning. The bed was very firm and there was no top sheet which would have been great given we had to open the widows to the adjoining street which is the main access to the property. The local cats were a noisy problem through the night. The hourly chiming church bells were to be expected and you have to accept they are part of the historic local charm.
