Grade II Mill Townhouse in Leeds with Free Parking which Sleeps 6

Nice and clean. Well appointed kitchen. Large comfortable bedrooms and living area. Local cleaning staff attended to change bedding arrangement: cleaning staff friendly and helpful.

Hot water service broken on arrival; no hot water for more than half of stay. TV remotes not working: unable to use TV for duration of stay. The base under the shower cubicle is not properly sealed and this is leading to damp/mould: strong smell of damp on 3rd floor. Requested a partial refund due to problems: property manager did not respond and automated email offered us 10% discount on next stay (we are from Australia and this is a one off trip) disappointing.

The spacious living room and decor. The large table in the dining room/kitchen. The large TV in the lounge. The beds were comfortable. The heating worked well on the timer and the house never felt chilly.

1. Kitchen - no baking trays, extremely dirty oven (unusable), dirty/sticky toaster, ancient microwave, only one tea-towel which was black and therefore could not confirm clean, dirty freezer drawers. Trays supplied when requested, oven professionally cleaned, toaster replaced 5 days into our 7 day stay. Host would not accept microwave was old and would not replace - he claimed it had been bought 2 years ago, but that model stopped being made in the early 1990's. There was no visible CE marking anywhere on the appliance. The professional oven cleaning people told us that they would not be happy using it and that they would advise the host that it needed changing. Also, the sofa in the kitchen was so worn that we sank down into the base when sitting on it. In addition, there was one, very small, dirty and rusty frying pan, which we noticed a previous review had mentioned, but clearly nothing had been done. Ben did replace this within the first day when requested. 2. One hand towel had been provided between the 3 bathrooms, and we had to request that more be provided. 3. The listing in booking.com does not clearly state that the property is over 3 floors, with relatively steep stairs between each floor. This should be made clear before booking, as this layout may not suit people with. for example, reduced mobility. 4. There were many stains on the stair carpets. 5. We had no hot water for a period of at least 24 hours in the middle of our stay. Ben arrange for a plumber to call (we were out at the time he called). Ben told us that the plumber found no fault, and that the tank had emptied due to "quite a lot of water which has been used". However, at the time our son had not joined us, so there were 3 people and we had not used an excessive amount of hot water. After his visit the tank did indeed refill and we had no further problems. However, with a gas supply to the property the HW should not be provided by a electric heater/tank.

Unfortunately the ensuite toilet wasn't flushing but as there are 2 other toilets not a real issue. Owner informed and will be addressed. Still love the property and didn't spoil the visit.

Large spacious house, perfect for a family or friend group stay. Good sized kitchen and living room. Listed building so characterful and very nice decor. Easy to park. Host was very responsive.

It was cold. The heating was not on when we arrived at it was 12 degrees. There was no extra blankets or duvets. The house is on 3 floors with steep steps up to the bedrooms, not suitable for old folks or people with mobility issues at all.

We were a party of 3 work colleagues attending a meeting in Leeds. The property was massive with plenty of space for us all to work on different floors. Decor was beautiful and nice views of the old stonework. Best property I have stayed at in Leeds and will rebook on next visit if available.

Nothing for us as quite fit but not suitable for elderly due to the amount of stairs. We loved it as kept us fit.

Tout était bien sauf le premier jour il faisait très froid et l’appartement a pris du temps pour se réchauffer mais c était très bien , Ben était là pour nous aider à résoudre le problème de chauffage

Amazing house,fantastic grade 2 listed renovation. Great location.. high spec

no tea towels, kitchen roll,lack of oven dishes.Some coffee would be a nice touch.
